The Sunday of April’s Spring Sale saw such a terrific storm that, for the first time in memory, the waiting crowd was allowed into the Bookhouse early. The storm may have deterred many shoppers from coming. Nevertheless, the Sale’s five-day total reached a near-record-breaking $152,693.96.
